Catching up

A lot has happened since I've written.

This year for Christmas, we were grateful for Matt having a good chunk of time off work. We knew that a trip back to the midwest wasn't the wisest choice of our money, so instead we were able to pay off some debt, make a Christmas trip to Vegas, put some money in savings and get a few baby items. None of that would've been possible if we had taken a big trip; we tried hard to walk in wisdom. Over Matt's break from work, we had a really great time-- lots of together time. LOVE IT!!

Zoe turned 4 on January 14th. Can't believe that 4 years have already come and gone. It's unreal. She had been wanting for awhile to have some friends over for a tea party so we decided to make her party just that. Aside from requiring too much of myself to do before the party, it was a great hit. She had 4 little friends come for the tea party and several adult friends. The little girls dressed in princess outfits, played games and enjoy cupcakes and tea. It was great!

As of this blog, I am 33 weeks. Only 7 more-- give or take! We now have the nursery ready for the most part. We have a beautiful crib set & the bassinet is ready to go. She has clothes and even diapers. A few little things left to get and we're set! Before we know it, she'll be here. YAY!

Zoe wrapped up her Kindermusik class two weeks ago. It has been a true blessing to have that each week and Zoe has really grown in her musical skills. However, now that we are paying for preschool, we cannot continue on with it. On the other hand, I am helping her teacher promote her new studio which is great experience for me. I am also considering becoming a kindermusik instructor myself as it would be a great way to make some income & balance family life.

All for now. Hope all is well with you & yours.
