Independent Zoe

Last week Zoe mixed her gift of love with all the skills she has been learning and snuck into the kitchen to make us all dinner.

Mickey Mouse Sandwiches, anyone?

What a sweetheart!!

Rock, roll & SWING

Zoe had a good idea the other day... to make Maddie look like she was jamming. :) She's our rock, roll & swinging babe!

Ca-Corn

Sophia is our popcorn girl.

She loves it. She always has.

Ever since she could eat, she has wanted popcorn. She will always ask us to cook popcorn for her. She is always the first to eat movie theater left-overs.

For Christmas, Aunty Rika got her her own corn popper. She loves it... the process, the popcorn... Good move, Aunty Rika!

Sophia Does Soccer

Seriously, why are tiny people playing soccer so darn cute?

Love our F.U.N. Sports program here in Bakersfield. They have a Itty-Bitty program for 3 year-olds. They do 2 weeks of soccer, 1 week of t-ball & 1 week of basketball.

I love the 1:1 time with Sophia. And she is so dang cute, too!

Sophia's Playdough Birthday

We just celebrated Sophia's 3rd birthday. Whenever we asked her what she wanted to do and what she wanted for her birthday, she would answer playdough. So we decided to throw her a playdough birthday!!

A quick search on Pinterest and we had our party! (I love Pinterest!)

Fun with Playdough

We had feathers, googly eyes, pipe cleaners, pasta and more to make Playdough Monsters. Of course we had cookie cutters, rollings pins and every color of Playdough!

Playdough Cookies

My favorite part of the part was these Playdough Cookies. Seriously, how fun!! They look just like Playdough... and when do you have permission to eat playdough?? And even if you eat it, when does it taste good. WIN!!

Playdough Party Goodies

And I had a lot of fun creating these... another genius idea I found on Pinterest. Playdough Party Goodies. We couldn't find any cookie cutters that worked, but otherwise, we followed their idea. I love when everything clicks together on a theme, it's too much fun!

Happy Birthday, Sophia!!
