I want to give to my family out of the overflow of our heart!

I just read an awesome newsletter from Hearts at Home. It filled my heart with life-giving words & reminded me that I'm important too. (I never realized until recently how easy, as a mom, it is to put everyone else before yourself!) I've been realizing that I've been trying to do everything & I'm trying to come out of that period of time with empowerment and hope.

I have been missing my family. I am physically present, but mentally doing other things. I've been busy busy busy. I've worked hard to organize my to-dos and that has helped a little. But I need some FRESH EYES. That's why I'm looking forward to retreat this weekend with the ladies at our church. After all... Jesus pulled away from the crowds to refuel... & I need to too.

It's time to make good. It's FREEDOM time. :)
